Can the film cause my headlight lens to crack?

No, it cannot. The protective film has different gauge thicknesses for different purposes despite the material being exactly the same. All the cases of headlights cracking due to the film are from 2-3 years ago when people would just buy the thickest gauge film thinking it would give them the best protection. Most of the cases you would find online are caused by heat stress, more likely resulting from improper installation by using too much heat close to the lenses. Halogen bulbs does not produce that much heat that can cause damage to the headlight lenses durable plastic material, and HID kit's xenon bulbs or LED bulbs almost doesn't produce heat. The film we use is from the leading brand that makes protective film specifically for headlight use that even come with a lifetime guarantee.
