Services & Artisan Lighting

Due to the high demand and custom nature of our business, we have longer wait times for new builds. The first step to working with us is to submit a 'Contact Us' form, complete with the details of your project. Make sure to include the year, make and model of your vehicle, and the services and features you're interested in. Together, we will plan and discuss the details of your build, so we can provide you estimated pricing and schedule. For more information, please make sure to read our Terms of Services.

We only get a chance to check our email once a day, if we are not busy. Otherwise, please allow 2-3 business days for a response. Incomplete inquiries will further delay your project and push you at the back of the list.

We don't like rushing builds as it always leads to more issues later. If you buy any of our Artisan Lighting designs without contacting us first, we will reach out through email to provide you your place in the waitlist and the estimated start date of your project. The estimated build time is written in the page ad and not the same as the waitlist.

Our pricing are for pairs, unless otherwise noted. In rare instances and depending on the design, we can build a single light assembly. However, we cannot guarantee to only charge for one side especially when the parts utilized are being sold as pairs.

We are very detail and quality oriented when it comes to our work. The details inside only matter if they can be seen clearly from the outside, and since the lenses serve as barriers to protect the parts inside the assemblies, they can also serve as a visual barrier if they're old and weathered. To prevent this from ever  happening or happening again, we install protective film to protect the lenses, new and old.

Yes, we can try. Depending on the year, make and model vehicle, we can source either used or brand new set of light assemblies. Not all light assemblies are worth restoring. A lot of times the lenses can be permanently discolored, cloudy and can sustain heat stress cracks. Heed our recommendation for the best results of your build.

Yes we do. Contact Us to apply and find what you qualify for.

Water condensation is when the atmospheric temperature varies from the inside. Headlights have breather valves that regulate the variation in temperature to prevent water condensation from building up inside the headlights. They go through rigorous testing from the factory to figure out just how many breather plugs it needs to sustain the balance. Water condensation is highly unlikely to happen to headlights, unless it is an issue from the factory design or the breather plugs somehow gets clogged.

Water seepage is more common to occur on headlights. The most common cause of water seepage would be bad seals. Most headlights are sealed with butyl glue. Butyl is very highly thermosensitive. When temperature gets hot it softens and turns really sticky attracting dirt and debris. Over time, dirt and debris absorbed by the butyl makes it way inside the headlights and prevents it from being an effective waterproof seal, eventually letting water in. We usually find dirt trails within the seals where water and dirt made its way inside the headlights.

Loose bulb sockets, whether they're missing rubber seals or just not fully locked in place can also cause water seepage, as well as missing breather valves. Breather valves can easily get knocked out from installation or just loosens itself over time.

We do offer warranty for water condensation or seepage. However there are procedures you need to do prior to shipping back your headlights for repair.

  • First is to determine what caused the water seepage/condensation. Did it happen out of nowhere (not after a carwash or rain)? If it happened out of nowhere, there is a slight chance that there is leftover water inside the headlights from when it was built (depending how long ago we built it). If it happened after a carwash, the water seepage may be coming from the top part of the headlights. This may mean there is a bad seal, but there's also a chance the water drips towards loose bulb sockets. If it happened after driving in the rain, the seepage may be coming from the back side of the headlights. This may mean the water is getting splashed in by the tires towards loosely installed bulb sockets or missing breather valves.

  • First is to completely dry up the inside of the headlights to better assess the situation. You can do this by removing all bulb sockets and/or covers, then place a hair dryer on medium heat to the opening on either of the furthest end so air can flow all throughout the headlight. Once everything is visibly dry, leave the hairdryer on for another 20 minutes to make sure all parts inside are also completely dry. Reinstall everything and use car as normal but observe what may cause it to come back, if it does.

  • Make sure all bulb sockets, covers and breather valves are installed correctly. Make sure nothing is loosely installed or missing. We may or may not be able to source missing OEM parts, but we can try and find replacements.

  • If issues persist, please contact us for repair. We do not cover return shipping and you will be charged prior to shipping back after repair.

Shipping

For a shipping quote, please create an account and proceed through the checkout process on our website. Before you submit an order or provide any billing information, the website will display all available shipping methods & costs.

All import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are to be paid by the recipient. Such fees are not included in the shipping or product cost. While common, we are unable to accommodate requests to falsify customs or tax documents with lower declared or "gift" values.

We are located in Torrance, CA. If all products are in stock, your order should normally be on a truck within 12-24 hours after submission. However, due to abnormally high order volume, and COVID restrictions, our processing times can reach up to 7 business days. Less than 2.5% of orders are held up due to a backorder. Our daily shipping cutoff time is 5pm PST. Order placed after this cutoff will often ship the following business day.

UPS offers guaranteed transit times for their overnight and expedited services. If you choose an expedited UPS method (3 Day Select or faster) and the shipment shows up late, normally we will be able to accommodate you with a refund for those shipping costs, but during this busy season these guaranteed times cannot be trusted.

USPS offers estimated transit times for their Express and Priority mail services, but we've seen these times be 2 — 3 times longer than quoted. Absolutely no guaranteed delivery dates (despite what their website reads). If you choose USPS and the package shows up late, we will not be able to apply for and/or provide a refund on behalf of their poor service.

For all free, standard, or ground methods: once a package leaves our shop, the transit time is completely out of our control. With USPS First Class, Parcel Post, or Priority Mail, the delivery time can vary from 2-30+ days depending on your location. Shipping costs are paid to the carrier and are non-refundable under any circumstance. These policies apply for all domestic and international shipments.

No Updates at All:

Even if a package has been picked up, sometimes the carriers won't scan the label until it reaches the first sorting facility. During peak season / times, this often gets worse, but don't worry, it doesn't mean the package is really lost. Oftentimes it will end up being delivered before any updates appear online.

Stopped Updating:

Please contact the carrier with your tracking number and provide notice that something seems wrong. Oftentimes, they can initiate a trace for the package and keep it moving. All shipping labels are generated electronically according to the address information given with your order.

Shipping Insurance:

If you want your package insured for full value, you need to select the optional insurance during checkout. With insurance, we will ship replacements out right away, no waiting required. If no insurance is added, we will help by filing a claim but the final outcome will be decided by the carrier.

Our suppliers have advanced warehouse management system, their shipment accuracy is 99.9%. All inventory is barcoded, and until each item is scanned in the correct quantity, the system will not generate a shipping label to seal the box. That said, it's not impossible, so you can help us help you by providing photos of the parts you received, the packing slip, and the packaging it arrived in. We will work together with you to help ensure that you receive what you ordered. Please notify us within 30 days of delivery. (No, we can't help if you just got around to that project you planned back in 2014!)
